WHO AM I?

Hi there! I’m Leonardo, a game design enthusiast with a Bachelor's in Digital Games from Faculdade Impacta de Tecnologia and a Technical degree in IT from SENAC. I have a real passion for crafting engaging levels and compelling gameplay experiences, which I've honed through hands-on work with classics like Half-Life 2 and active participation in Game Jams.

When I'm not busy designing, you can find me collaborating with the talented folks at Lightkeeper’s Machine, where we bring indie game visions to life. Previously, I kept things challenging at Aeria Canada as a Junior Game Designer, where I was dedicated to fine-tuning level balance, brainstorming new mechanics, and ensuring our AI provided just the right level of thrill

WHY GAME DEVELOPMENT?

I chose game development as a career because my earliest childhood memories are filled with video games. I used to create maps in Minecraft and nothing beat the thrill of watching others enjoy my creations. This passion naturally evolved into a desire to craft my own games and levels. There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing players engage with my work, testing the limits of the worlds I build, and having a great time. It's that joy in others that fuels my passion for game design.
